Hooker Falls

Located in Dupont State Forest - 50 minutes from Asheville.

Things to know:

• Fairly easy, less than a mile (.8 to be exact) out and back forested hike

• Good for kids but not for those with mobility issues.

• Stunning fall colors usually occur in late October to early November at this elevation.

• Beautiful field next to the parking lot for another location with a different look.
