I’ve known Matt for years, so it was a thrill to be able to photograph his Charlotte wedding and to meet his awesome wife, Erika.  I love how her hair was reminiscent of a 1930′s starlet.  They were super cute and they had brought a little pocket calendar that they had used to count down the days until their wedding to which when they turned it to June 11, 2011, they did a little victory dance.

There was a festival going on downtown Charlotte so because they are totally awesome, they decided to go on the ferris wheel after all the wedding festivities. Love it!
